Alta Moda 2021
In 2021, Dolce & Gabbana returned to the catwalk. The 2021 Alta Moda was held in Venice, with the typical A-list guestlist, gondolas and an extravagant rainbow in the sky. The guestlist featured Kris Jenner, Ciara, Megan Thee Stallion and Jennifer Lopez, to name a few.
The collection celebrated the romance and sensuality of Venice with crystals, velvet and silk. The city’s signatures inspired Many of the pieces, including carnival masks.
Alta Moda 2022
The 2022 Alta Moda was the 10th-anniversary show. The show occurred in the Piazza Duomo, joined by a celebrity guest list including Sharon Stone, Mariah Carey and Drew Barrymore. The extravagant celebration lasted four days, with a concert in a Greek theater and a fireworks show.
The 2022 collection took inspiration from religious symbolism. There were over-the-top gowns in black, gold and red, with crystal-studded crosses and mourning veils.
